The shape of the portfolio

A named list of holdings does not appear here. Where a company of the group trades under its own brand and its results are public, it is named in the relevant section; registry data is otherwise available to partners directly.

Legal forms

Of the eight active companies one is a European company (Societas Europaea), four are joint-stock companies and three are limited liability companies. The form follows what the structure has to carry, not habit.

The group's role

In some of the companies the group holds a majority and runs the management; in others it is a minority participant with no operating role. The holding itself trades in none of them.

Project vehicles

Two of the active companies are special purpose vehicles set up for specific investment projects, each with its own capital structure and a defined circle of partners. Further vehicles and mandates that are subject to confidentiality agreements do not appear in this overview.

Selected completed projects

The projects below are named because they were publicly presented — at international trade fairs, in the press, or as finished buildings. Part of the group's work cannot be presented this way; it appears at the end of the list as a type of assignment, without the counterparty and without the location.

Scale2 × 100,000 tonnes per year
Periodsince 2019

Two special purpose vehicles — BIOELEKTRA Horovce, a. s. and BIOELEKTRA Martin a.s. — established to build and operate advanced material recovery facilities for non-hazardous waste in the Košice and Žilina regions. Both rest on the non-combustion RotoSTERIL technology: waste is sterilised in steam autoclaves, which halts biological decomposition and methane release, and the dried material is then sorted automatically, recovering substantially more secondary raw material than conventional sorting.

OutcomeEach facility sits in its own special purpose vehicle with its own capital structure and a defined circle of partners.
